Rocks, marbles and slingshots found aboard the Mavi Marmara

When IDF forces boarded the Mavi Marmara in order to redirect it towards the Port of Ashdod, they encountered protestors armed with such weapons as knives, slingshots, bags of marbles, metal and wooden clubs, chains, mace, and Molotov cocktails. Above are photos of weapons found on the ship including two of a slingshot with the word "Hizbullah" written across the handle. When IDF soldiers intercepted the other five ships of the flotilla, they did not encounter any resistance and no one was injured. However, the instant the soldiers boarded the Mavi Marmara they were met with extreme violence and responded in self defense.

"Hizbullah" is written across the slingshot used by rioters on the Mavi Marmara.
