(NEWS) "Hizb Uh-Tahrir" Not Banned In USA

"Hizb uh-Tahrir, the radical Islamic 'Party of Liberation' that is outlawed in Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Libya, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Holland, and other countries, operates freely in the United States.

Counter-terrorism expert lecturer and radio talk show host Gadi Adelman, writing for FamilySecurityMatters.org, says that the organization, known as HT for short, was to hold its second annual conference next week, entitled, “Emerging World Order: Global Campaign for Khilafah (Caliphate).” However, at nearly the last minute, host venue Chicago Marriott Oak Brook hotel canceled the event. HT plans to hold it elsewhere before the end of the month, though it has not yet announced a location."
