"Some 1,500 police officers will be deployed around Jerusalem on Thursday and Friday, and several roads will be closed as the large march demanding the release of kidnapped soldier Gilad Schalit comes to the capital.
The marchers are expected to reach Beit Shemesh on Thursday at 11 a.m., where they will be met by local officials and hold a protest at city hall.
At 4 p.m., the marchers will gather on Route 1 at the Bayit Ha’adom junction and begin walking toward Jerusalem."
