(NEWS) Australian School Apologizes Over Hitler Prize

"A Catholic primary school in Australia apologized to incensed parents after teachers awarded first prize in a dress-up competition to a student dressed as Hitler.

The outcry followed a school activity in Perth, Western Australia, in which students aged 9-10 had been asked to dress up as famous people.

The principal of the school, which has not been identified, issued a letter of apology last week reassuring parents that future dress-up activities would be restricted to famous people 'appropriate for primary school-aged students.'"
