(TECH) Israels Objet Geometries In Europe's Top 25

"Israel's Objet Geometries, an innovation leader in 3D printing based in the Science Park in Rehovot, south of Tel Aviv, was singled out in July as among Europe's 25 Most Creative Companies by CNBC European Business, a monthly magazine produced by CNBC Europe and Ink Publishing.

Objet was listed as one of 25 enterprises with a 'disruptive force of ideas,' along with such prominent firms as mobile phone manufacturer Nokia, automaker Lotus and the social networking site Chatroulette. Two additional Israeli companies on the list are Briefcam and Nano Retina.

Objet 3D printers have won other awards in the past. The company's Connex500 - the first system in the world to support multi-material 3D printing - won a red dot award, one of the highest and most coveted honors for product design and innovation worldwide. It also received a RadTech USA Emerging Technologies Award, a Frost & Sullivan Product Innovation of the Year Award and a Material of the Year Honorable Mention by Material ConneXion.

In addition to the Connex systems, Objet offers a line of Eden 3D printers and a desktop system, the Alaris30.

Founded in 1998, Objet serves its growing worldwide customer base through offices in the US, Mexico, Europe, Japan, China and Hong Kong, and a global network of distribution partners. Objet owns more than 50 patents and patent pending inventions." (source)
