"More than 1000 executives from global media and technology firms will attend the Contech 2010 conference which will take place in between 8-10 November in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Some of the executives who confirmed their participation include BBC vice president of future media and technology; FOX vice president of international distribution, content area manager for Orange in France, vice president of Fox Mobile, vice president of MTV and many more. Contech2010 is organized by Kenes Exhibitions.

Moshe Lilos, CEO of Kenes Exhibitions said: 'Contech offers a meeting place and interface for content creators and technology developers. It is an opportunity for the participants to have a closer view of new media technologies, novel contents and new media as well as to meet with the executives of the global industry who will arrive in Israel especially for the conference.'

The media and technology executives will use the three days of the conference to meet with Israeli companies to evaluate collaboration and acquisition possibilities. Tens of meetings have already been scheduled with content, technology and new media companies in Israel.

Lilos added, 'We have set up a steering committee for the conference which is co-chaired by Yoram Yaakovi, CEO of Microsoft's R&D center in Israel and Yona Wiesenthal, VP of content in YES. The committee, which consists of 50 media and technology executives, will set the professional direction for the conference.'

Concurrently with the sessions, the conference will offer additional activities such as a TV format contest which was organized by Avi Armoza, a developer of a video game managed by GameIS, and an a trade exhibition of tens of exhibitors.
