(VIDEO) CNN TV: Israel Provides Most Sophisticated Hospital In Haiti

The 2010 Haiti earthquake was a catastrophic magnitude 7.0 Mw earthquake, with an epicentre near the town of Léogâne, approximately 25 km (16 miles) west of Port-au-Prince, Haiti's capital.

An estimated three million people were affected by the quake; the Haitian Government reported that an estimated 230,000 people had died, 300,000 had been injured and 1,000,000 made homeless. They also estimated that 250,000 residences and 30,000 commercial buildings had collapsed or were severely damaged.

Israel was the first country to respond to assisting the victims of the earthquake. Sadly, but expected, most if not all of the usual Anti-Israel suspects did not give Israel any credit for at least putting in the effort, time and money to assist where they could, regardless of whatever people thought of Israel prior to this...

The delegation prepares to depart to Haiti in the Home Front Command Headquarters. Col. Dr. Itzik Kryse, head of the Israeli medical team, describes what the field hospital in Haiti will consist of. He proceeds to receive vaccinations and discuss what his views are of the delegation.



They provided a fully operational mobile hospital which also included Imaging machinery.





Captain Barak Raz of the IDF Spokesperson's Unit describes the IDF's aid efforts in Haiti following the earthquake that hit the island republic.
