(TECH) Three Israeli Companies Make The CNBC Most Creative List

"Israel's total population may only be the size of a European city, but three of its companies have made it onto CNBC's new list of Europe's 25 most creative companies. The companies were selected, according to CNBC, for 'the disruptive force of their ideas.'

The three companies are Nano Retina of Herzliya Pituach, which is developing an artificial retina to restore sight to the blind; Rehovot-based company Objet Geometries; which is developing 3D printing technology; and Neve Ilan-based Briefcam, which has developed a video synopsis technology that can condense 24 hours of surveillance videos into just a few minutes. The company was founded by Prof. Shmuel Peleg, Gideon Ben-Zvi, Dr. Yaron Caspi, and Yael Pritch.

The only other countries with more companies on the list than Israel, were the UK - which had 4.5 companies (one company is UK-Swedish), and the Netherlands, which had five companies." (source)
