"Protesters object to package tours to East Jerusalem, as they require obtaining visa from Israeli authorities.
Opposition party leaders and prominent unionists demonstrated before the Jordanian Ministry of Tourism on Monday to protest the arrangement of package tours to East Jerusalem by tourism bureaus in the country.
The protesters, who belonged to the National Committee for Resisting Normalization of Ties with Israel, held signs and shouted slogans urging a ban on such trips because they would take place in coordination with the Israeli embassy in Amman."
