(NEWS) Would-Be Suicide Bomber Convicted For Attempted Murder

"A Gaza terrorist who attempted a suicide bombing in Be'er Sheva three years ago has been convicted of attempted murder, and will be sentenced in the upcoming days. Under a plea bargain with state attorneys, the state will request that he be sent to prison for 19 years, while his attorneys will argue for a lighter sentence.

The convict, 25-year-old Abdullah Nahal of the Popular Resistance Committees terrorist group, planned to bomb a shopping center in the southern city. He met with a senior terrorist and underwent training, learning how to shoot and how to use a bomb belt."
