(ENVIRO) Saving Europe's Birds

Once a salt marsh, the development of Israel's southern most point, Eilat, has taken away much of the natural stopping ground that birds migrating from the Africa to Europe and Asia used to stop at. Today, seven percent of the original area is now a sanctuary that provides half a billion birds with food and an undisturbed area where they can stop at.
