"At its inception, ALL4ISRAEL was created to provide a resource for donors and organizations looking for ways to help Israel. However, after several months of receiving desperate phone calls from and on behalf of families in need, we have decided to begin fundraising in order to provide direct financial assistance. In addition, we will provide grants for specific programs, run by organizations that will be thoroughly researched, directly helping Israeli victims of terror.
For the past seven years, I have worked with the Young Israel of Staten Island Adopt A Family program. With a tremendous outpouring of support from our community and the help of the staff at ALL4ISRAEL, we have provided financial assistance to dozens of families in a dignified and meaningful way. I had the pleasure of visiting some of these families in Israel. One family included a widow with her eight children. Watching the smiles on the faces of these children reinforced my belief that no matter what obstacles we encounter in our efforts to help families victimized by terrorism, we must persevere."
