"Israel's international airline, EL AL, has launched an interconnecting flight between Tel Aviv and Eilat for just £7 each way per person.
Eilat, world renowned for its hot climate, tropical sea and impressive scenery, is a top resort city with hotels and beaches enjoyed by international holiday makers and tourists.
The offer, which enables travelers to explore more of Israel's attractions, is open to customers with return international flights from the UK.
There will be 17 flights a week in each direction from Ben Gurion's domestic terminal. The 55-minute flight will be operated using a 136-seat Boeing 737-700.
Elyezer Shkedy, President and CEO of EL AL, told Business Wire: 'We are thrilled that we are now able to offer Eilat at competitive fares for the first time. Customers will now have the freedom to plan or spontaneously decide upon a mini adventure in this magical country.'
EL AL Israel was established in 1948 as Israel's national airline. Last year, EL AL flew more than 200,000 passengers to and from Israel. IATA has ranked EL AL as one of the world's three most efficient air carriers." (source)
