"Since well before the infamous Gaza Flotilla, Israel has by and large consistently been cast in a negative light by much of the media. From CNN to the BBC, Israel’s ethically responsible defensive measures are routinely cast as 'aggressions' and the very right of Jews to live in their homeland is constantly in question. Since the country’s founding, negative public relations have threatened Israeli security, hurt its economy and dimmed the prospects for peace.

In response to this concern, an initiative to bolster the public image of Israel is being launched by Shas Member of Knesset, Rabbi Nissim Zeev. In coordination with several Jewish organizations, MK Zeev, who serves as Chairman of the Knesset Caucus for Israel and Global Ethics, seeks to set the record straight on Israel."
