"The Israeli Government, together with the IDF, coordinates the delivery of a variety of Humanitarian Aid and Development Assistance to the civilian population of the Gaza Strip. This report details the humanitarian measures taken during the month of August 2010, as well as general transfers of goods and services to the Strip.
August saw a 41% increase in the net volume of truckloads entering Gaza, together with the ongoing implementation of the new policies approved on June 20th. These included the establishment of a Joint Project Coordination Team between COGAT and the PA, which has already facilitated various development efforts. There has also been a near doubling of the capacity for imports via the Kerem Shalom Crossing since May." (source)
