(NEWS) Iran To Disclose Documents On Israel's Nuclear Program

"Iran will soon release documents on Israel’s nuclear program, Supreme National Security Council Secretary Saeed Jalili announced on Monday.

'The hegemonistic powers have created a brouhaha over Iran’s peaceful nuclear activities to divert the world’s attention from major international issues, such as the proliferation of nuclear weapons by the world powers,' Jalili added.



'In the near future, we will disclose some documents about the proliferation of nuclear weapons by the United States and the Zionist regime, and we will follow up the matter,' the SNSC secretary said.

According to the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), the proliferation of nuclear weapons should be prevented, and the key question is who has provided the Zionist regime with enriched uranium, Jalili stated.

Iran has documents that show how the U.S. facilitated Israel’s nuclear weapons program, he added.

He went on to say that Iran will defend its nuclear rights as well as the rights of all independent countries and NPT signatories.

Israel, which is believed to possess over 200 nuclear warheads, has refused repeated calls to join the NPT over the years and has also refused to allow inspections of its nuclear facilities.



At the annual meeting of the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna on September 24, Arab member states proposed the Israeli Nuclear Capabilities Resolution, which calls on Israel to join the NPT.

Of the nations present at the meeting, 51 voted against the resolution, 46 voted for it, and 23 abstained, and the resolution was rejected.

However, Iran’s ambassador to the IAEA, Ali Asghar Soltanieh, welcomed the Arab-sponsored resolution on September 28, saying the resolution opened a new chapter in the global efforts to deal with the issue of Israel’s nuclear capabilities.

The significance of the resolution is that it broke 20 years of inaction about Israel’s nuclear capabilities, and efforts will continue until Israel brings its nuclear activities under the supervision of the IAEA, he added." (source)
