Idan Amedi is a commander in an IDF combat unit from the East Jerusalem neighbourhood of Pisgat Ze'ev.

He was discovered on an Israeli reality TV singing contest called Kokhav Nolad and this is his song which made him famous.

It is about his life as a fighter in the IDF and the pain he experiences. The translation of the song is below the video.
