(BIZ) Israel Stocks Up; Discount And Partner In Focus After Reports

"Israel stocks rose sharply on Wednesday, in line with world markets, as the gas-exploration partners continued a run of gains and the major banks rose.

A number of analysts weighed in on Discount Bank's earnings report from Tuesday, including a downgrade at Deutsche Bank. Withal, the bank's shares rose.

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange's benchmark TA-25 Index rose 1.69% at the close to 1154.13, its high for the day. Just one of the TA-25 members, Cellcom, declined."
