(TECH) Israel No. 2 In World For Internet Usage

"Israelis are the second most active Internet users in the world, after Canada, according to a comScore survey of Internet use. The average time spent online per user was 38.3 hours in May 2010, compared with 40.4 hours in Canada. The US is ranked third, followed by the UK.

On average, Israelis spend 60 percent more time online than the worldwide average of 24 hours per user.

According to a recent integrated census in Israel, personal computers are found in 71.1% of Israeli households and 90.8% of those homes have an Internet connection.

The survey also ranked leading websites in Israel. Google is in first place, with 3.8 million visitors age 15 and older accessing the site from home and work, representing 92% of the total Internet audience.
