Of course he knew, it was part of his plan, it gave him a public reason to cancel ties with Israel so that Turkey could join the Islamic regime with Iran and Syria - It just shows the weakness of the Islamic regime, that they all need to gang up together in order to solve their problems...weak weak weak...
