(VIDEO) Muslims, Leftists Bring "Holy War" Against Jews To Streets Of L.A.- With Police Assistance

Video below: A small group of Zionist supporters of Israel stand against the Nakba rally of L.A.'s Moslems, the far-left, and leftist Jewish Voice for Peace at the Israeli Consulate in LA on May 15, 2011.

Naqba rally leaders objected to this reporter giving exposure to their demonstration; a Moslem organizer called police to remove him from the street. Despite numerous LAPD police just standing around on periphery, rather than stand to protect this journalist's right to film, policeman intimidated him into leaving, with the implied threat that police might not be "able to protect him in time from potential attack" from chronicling Moslem/leftist protestors.

After he left, police supposedly abused a Jewish teen for filming a Moslem's Jew-hateful rant - under the charge of 'jaywalking' , i.e., not returning to the sidewalk before the light changed.

The young man says the cops manhandled him to put his arms in handcuffs, placed him inside a police car, seized his wallet and removed and examined all its contents.

(VIDEO) 2,000 Attend Massive Pro-Israel Event In London

Supporters of Israel held a rally opposite an anti-Israel “Nakba Day” protest Sunday in London.

A few hours later, close to 2,000 people attended a high-profile event in support of the Jewish state, “We Believe in Israel.”

The event featured sessions with top-level political speakers from both Britain and Israel, and a series of workshops where delegates learned from experts about campaigning and communicating.

Delegates also learned the latest facts and arguments about the situation in Israel and the wider Middle East. A major focus was placed on helping delegates to understand the views of the British public and political figures on Israel, and how best to communicate with each specific audience.

Rafi Nassi, Head of the Jewish Agency delegation in London, told Arutz Sheva correspondent Hezki Ezra that the event was the largest of its kind in recent memory. It was, he said, “a huge show of force by supporters of Israel and the British Jewish community.”

(NEWS) 'Ahava' Store In London Blockaded By Activists...Again

"Pro-Palestinian protesters locked themselves to a cement-filled barrel and remained there until police arrived.

Pro-Palestinian activists blockaded an Ahava store in London's Covent Garden on Monday, resulting in the store closing for the day.

Two activists reportedly locked themselves to a cement-filled barrel at the entrance to the property and remained there until police arrived to remove them."

These anti-Israel activists are really lame.

This lot do not even know what they are campaigning against. "Palestinians are not allowed access to the Dead Sea" she says, thats because they are not citizens of Israel, its like I am not allowed access to Mecca, should I now boycott?

(NEWS) English Defence League Hold Support For Israel Rally In London

"Approximately 2-300 EDL supporters gathered outside the Israeli Embassy in London where they heard a speech by Rabbi Nachum Shifren. The EDL for the most part were well behaved and good natured. The usual tense relationship with the press seemed to be better today. I stood happily chatting to various members and they seemed happy to pose for images.

There was a minor scuffle when someone poured water on the PA system and then run off down the road. Apart from that the battle with the small UAF counter demo was verbal.

After the event closed we heard that the Rabbi was going to speakers corner. Speakers Corner is one place in London where traditionally people can speak to the public and say what they want on any subject. Over the last few year Religion has become the predominant subject, various speakers from various religions speak there.

The Rabbi made his speech on the grass next to the main area, and as is accustomed at the corner was heckled from some in the large crowd that gathered.

As the speech finished, fights started to occur, I didn't see who started it so it would be wrong for me to speculate, until a group of approximately 15 EDL overturned a table being used by a muslim preacher. A fight started which led to two members of the EDL being arrested. I saw one other arrested in a separate incident." (source)

The Israel Defense Forces and the defense establishment recently used soldiers disguised as Arabs during Friday anti-fence rallies in the West Bank.

The enclosed video shows members of the security forces arresting protestors in the village of Nabi Salih, near Ramallah, their faces hidden by a hat and kaffiyah (traditional Arab headdress).

The officers seen in the video squeezed through a convoy of vehicles arriving at Nabi Salih from a wedding held in the nearby village of Beit Rima. Their car was not identified as a security forces' vehicle, and the protestors spotted the police sign on the hat only after they were arrested."

(NEWS) Jew-Hating Westboro Baptists To Hit Midwood On Monday

"Midwood’s weather forecast for Monday: Cloudy with a chance of religious oddballs.

Members of the hate-mongering, Kansas-based Westboro Baptist Church, who brought their anti-Jewish, anti-gay rhetoric to the borough last fall, will visit Midwood next week as part of their 'Godsmack Tour.'

According to the Church’s website, www.godhatesfags.com, members of the unhinged right-wing Christian God squad plan to protest outside of Yeshiva Rabbi Chaim Berlin on Coney Island Avenue between avenues L and M as well as Chabad of Kensington and Yeshiva Torah Teminah, both on Ocean Parkway between Ditmas and 18th avenues on Oct. 11, beginning at 12:30 pm.

'We will picket to remind the Jews that a remnant of them will be saved if they turn to their God, but that the rest will be cast into everlasting fire in hell,' noted the website. 'The Lord’s promises are good and he has promised to save 144,000 obedient Jews who hearken his commandments and repent. The rest of the Jews represent the disobedient masses of mankind who will dwell eternally where the worm that eats them never dies and the fire ascend up forever and ever.'

Neighborhood religious and political leaders are already preparing counterprotests, according to Assemblyman Dov Hikind (D–Borough Park).

'The Westboro Baptist Church is nothing more than a veiled neo-Nazi group spewing venom and bile indiscriminately,' said Hikind. 'I cannot and will not stand idly by while these sick individuals disparage and vilify Jews, rehashing age-old anti-Semitic canards such as the Jews killed Jesus.'

Westboro’s anti-Jewish and anti-gay hate speak is well established.

When they came to Brooklyn last October, Westboro protestors — about seven in total, including small children — held placards reading, 'Jews Killed Jesus,' 'Israel is doomed,' 'Jews stole the land' and 'Mourn for your sins.'

But Brooklyn counter-protestors — who outnumbered the Westboro group 30 to one according to some accounts — shouted down the religious zealots, sending them back to Kansas with their tails between their legs.

Westboro members were beaten, but left unbowed, as this new round of protests prove.

The group’s still proudly standing behind its backwater beliefs, claiming their blitzkrieg protests are actually 'warnings.'

'[The Jews’] time is about gone and they have to be held accountable for spilling the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ,' Shirley Phelps-Roper, a spokeswoman and attorney for the church told us last year. Attempts to reach her were unsuccessful Wednesday as we reached our deadline. 'We want [the Jews] to understand that we will be the fateful witnesses in the spirit of grace and supplication and that we will mourn for them when their time comes.'" (source)

(BLOG) Massive Pro-Israel Demonstration In Rome On Thursday 7th October

"Dear friends, as you know, we are preparing a demostration at European level for this Thursday, the 7th of October, under the title 'For the truth, for Israel'. I'm sending you now some information about our work in case you are around and you want to partecipate, and also to let you know that working for the truth about Israel is possible.

A very small wonderful group of politicians, intellectuals, journalists, youngsters, have helped day after day to mobilize forces, fund-raising, printing and spreading leaflets and materials, calling to MPs and VIPs in Europe and of course mostly in Italy. Beyond the continuous presence of Sharon in my office and mine in the Parliament, we have an entire little group of press officers and Pr volunteering. The people that have worked with me have done it for free, out of love for Israel, and now we are anxiously fixing the last details, recall, translations etc.

A wonderful daily newspaper, Il Foglio, has collected with our help a series of article about the delegitimization of Israel and is printing them day after day with the logo and the date of our demonstration. We are surprised of the simpathy and the attention we collected in these days by MPs, Ministers, writers, journalists, citizens. The collection of names of people that want speak at what we called a 'Rhetorical Marathon' - which means a series of 5 minutes speeches - is so long that we worry about the real possibility of giving the floor to everybody.

You will find hereby the invitation and the first article that has been printed on 'Il Foglio' on the issue.

Hoping and working for the best, we promise to keep you updated. And if by chance you are in Rome on Thursday, come with us to say 'enough of the double standard, enough of the delegitimization of Israel!'.

DEMONSTRATION
Thursday, October 7 at 18:00 at the Temple of Hadrian (Tempio di Adriano), Piazza di Pietra, Rome

WHY YOU MUST BE THERE
Because it is necessary to put an end to the barrage of lies that are thrown on
Israel every day;

Because Israel is the only country that is being attacked for whatever it does:
whether its athletes are participating in a tournament,
whether its films competing in an international film festival,
or whether it is defending its people from missile and terrorist attacks;

Because at this event, politicians, intellectuals, and young people who want the
truth about Israel will participate from all over Europe.

ENOUGH OF THE DOUBLE STANDARD!
80% OF THE UN RESOLUTIONS OF CONDEMNATION ARE AGAINST ISRAEL

Why doesn’t the UN care when Iran hangs homosexuals and stones women, in Darfur a massacre is takes place in silence, and in China justice is to be shot in the head?

Promoters of the initiative: Fiamma Nirenstein, journalist and MP, Vice-president of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the Italian Chamber of Deputies; Giuliano Ferrara, editor in chief of 'Il Foglio' daily; French philosopher Shmuel Trigano; Dutch MEP Bastiaan Belder (Epp); German MP Gert Weisskirchen (Spd); president of the Jewish Community of Rome Riccardo Pacifici; professor and writer Giorgio Israel; journalists Giuseppe Caldarola, Angelo Pezzana,Daniele Scalise, Carlo Panella; producer of musical events David Zard; Anita Friedman, president, 'Appuntamento a Gerusalemme'.

The de-legitimization of Israel comes from all latitudes and without any restraints. Israel, the most openly threatened country in the world, is condemned by the international institutions and media for whatever it does, whether it is seeking to defend itself from terrorist attacks, trying to stop the supply of weapons to Gaza, or simply doing the normal activities that any democratic country does.

Its scientific, cultural, social, economic, and sport achievements are constantly boycotted, even with violence. The double standard is the normal standard applied to Israel: the UN, dedicating to it 80% of its resolutions, condemn Israel at every step, while countries that systematically violate human rights and commit massacres, are never punished.

But a large part of the public opinion is tired of this lie: the de-legitimization of Israel undermines democracy, corrupts international institutions that should protect peace and fight against terrorism. It legitimates oppressive and violent cultures against women, homosexuals and freedom of thought. In fact, it justifies anti-democratic cultures. For this reason we want to say 'enough' to all the lies about Israel and to claim that Europe loves Israel and wants it living in peace.

Against the de-legitimization of Israel and Appeasement with Iran

Interview with Fiamma Nirenstein, by Giulio Meotti Il Foglio daily, September 25, 2010

A demonstration 'For the truth, for Israel' as the United Nations increases the delegitimization of the Jewish State and new 'humanitarian' shipments are ready to break the isolation of Hamas.

A 'rhetorical marathon' - a series of 5 minutes speeches - will be held on October 7 at the Temple of Hadrian (Tempio di Adriano) in Rome, starting at 18:00. MPs from all the political parties, intellectuals, journalists, artists, from Italy and other countries of Europe, including the editor of daily 'Il Foglio' Giuliano Ferrara, Paolo Mieli, former editor of 'Il Corriere della Sera', writer Roberto Saviano, Democratic Party leader Walter Veltroni, philosopher Shmuel Trigano, Farid Ghadry, President of the Syrian Reform Party and Gen. Yosef Kuperwasser, will attend it. Opening the event will be José María Aznar, former Spanish prime minister and president of 'Friends of Israel'.

Promoter of the initiative is Fiamma Nirenstein, deputy of the PDL (People of Freedom Party) and journalist. 'We want to warn the European public of the existential threat that Iran and its friends Hamas and Hezbollah pose to Israel on a daily basis' says Nirenstein. 'The Iranian denial of Israel's right to exist is the backdrop of its strategy. The UN has become the sounding board of Ahmadinejad's dangerous nonsense. Appeasement is the only reaction of the United States and this of course increases Islamic fervor. The number of Hezbollah’s missiles and weapons has grown dramatically and Hamas can now hit Tel Aviv. Ahmadinejad can announce the end of Israel in an international summit, and all the West does is shake his hand. And piece by piece, bit by bit, they are destroying the structure of universalism and natural justice that arose after World War II'.

As a second point there is the enormous work of cultural delegitimization being carried out by Western intellectuals together with the Islamic extremists. 'The story starts with Arafat’s trip to Vietnam in the 1970s, when the Palestinian leader asked General Giap how to make the Palestinian issue as universal and of as of equal importance worldwide as Vietnam. Giap told Arafat: Just do what we did: go and conquer the intellectuals'.

'Archaeologist Barkai has told me that denial of the Jewish roots of Jerusalem is worse than denying the Holocaust. And look at how successful the Palestinian operation of cultural conquest has been, even if this is a paradoxical lie. Delegitimizing the very presence of Israel in an area that is the homeland of the Jewish people, the same land that laid the basis for the history of humanity, is absurd. It is an expression of the refusal to recognize Israel's historic right to found and make its homeland flourish in that area. It is an historic right, because the Jewish people were born there, lived there for centuries; it is there that they founded monotheism, a moral law that has generated democracy and prosperity. For the Arabs, and not only for the Palestinians, the Jewish presence in the area is deemed illegal and evil, forever. Israel is ready to recognize a Palestinian State. It's time that the Arab world is willing to recognize a Jewish State'.

Israel is overwhelmed by a tsunami of delegitimization, 'that makes use of the pure invention of cruelty, racism, persecution, a desire for conquest and a scorn for peace that never existed. Look at the Freedom Flotilla recent episode: all over the world, the media immediately spread the idea that Israel wanted to attack and kill a group of pacifists'. Delegitimization even involves sports: 'A group of Israeli tennis players was only allowed to play behind closed doors in a Swedish stadium. In Hannover, an Israeli dance group was stoned by demonstrators shouting 'Juden Raus'. In Turkey, a volleyball game was surrounded by a violent rally shouting at the police: 'Don't be the watchdogs of the Zionists, Allah will punish you'. The British Trade Union has called to boycott Israel. A major Swedish newspaper wrote that the Israeli soldiers kill young Palestinians to harvest their organs. European supermarkets have more than once decided to boycott Israeli goods. The Israeli movies are ousted from international festivals. Scientific discoveries, technological products are systematically boycotted. Israeli academics are expelled from European universities and conferences. For years, Israel has been seeing rockets hitting its civilian population and nobody says a word. An Israeli politician cannot land in London without risking jail. Amnesty International and the UN attack Israel every day, as does the Human Rights Council. Nobody raises an eyebrow to the fact that Spain bars gay Israelis from participating in a gay pride parade in Madrid'.

It is Israel's very right to exist that is being questioned. 'It is the basic right of self defense that has been denied. Practically speaking, the UN has condemned Israel to death several times, denying its right to self-defense. And this put all of us in danger, because self-defense is a vital right for everybody. The world should be ashamed when it left the Israelis alone, during the Second Intifada, to be killed in cafes, supermarkets and restaurants. I even remember when a woman suicide bomber killed an entire group just waiting at the bus station and her personality was praised by the press. This monstrous morality has been poured all over Europe, where anti-Semitism has grown in all of its cities. The sense itself of any anti-racist struggle is destroyed when you call Israel 'racist'. We mustn't forget Durban. The hatred for Israel has corrupted our civilization'.

The demonstration also wants to clearly show the gift of what Israel stands for. 'De-legitimization also springs from the envy of the contemporary world over the precious gift of identity and morality that the Jewish nation gives the world every single day. An Israeli boy full of life and desire to have fun, to dance, to travel, is at the same time enormously concerned about protecting his homeland, his family and culture. A famous plastic surgeon, Arieh Eldad, a settler, worked days and nights, for months without ever leaving the hospital to save a Palestinian child burned by an explosion. In Gaza, Jewish farmers picked cherry tomatoes and hothouse flowers until the very last second they were forced to leave their homes. Israel is a lighthouse of life, when life is the most endangered value of our times. And therefore, the most envied while it flows in the veins of a people constantly under threat'." (source)

(VIDEO) Yoel Shalit, Eli Hazan & Calev Myers Talk At Geneva Red Cross Rally For Gilad Shalit

Yoel Shalit, brother of kidnapped IDF soldier Gilad Shalit, met Tuesday afternoon with UN human rights officials in Geneva. Yoel Shalit handed over to the officials a letter addressed to Gilad, asking that the UN attempt to deliver it, since the International Red Cross had proven unable or unwilling to do so.

After the meeting, Yoel Shalit joined a rally outside UN headquarters in Geneva, where 500 people demanded freedom for Gilad.

Yoel Shalit Speech:

"Hello

I would like to start by thanking you all for coming here today to support my brother Gilad and our family.

Gilad was captured while participating in a military defense mission in the territory of Israel. Terrorists dug a tunnel, infiltrated the border and used the morning mist to launch an attack on Gilad's tank. Two of his crewmembers were killed and he was dragged injured into the Gaza strip. I'd like to remind you that the date of the kidnap, June twenty fifth 2006, was nearly a year after the Israeli disengagement from the Gaza strip.

Gilad is being held for one thousand, five hundred and fifty six days by the terror organization Hamas, that denies Gilad visits and other basic human rights. We have no information whatsoever about the conditions in which Gilad is being held.

Almost a year has gone by since we received the last sign of life from Gilad. We received a videotape, in which he appears to be physically functioning, but he was very pale, very thin and his eyes were sunken and black. This is not the same Gilad who left home more than 4 years ago.

My family and I went on a twelve day long protest march across Israel, with more than one hundred and seventy thousands supporting citizens all the way from our home in the north to the capital of Israel, to Jerusalem. Three months have gone by since the march was over and we are sitting everyday, all day, in front of our Prime Ministers residence, demanding that the Israeli government will act with determination to quickly release my brother.

Our activities are mainly in Israel, however we believe that a joint international effort should be taken. Gilad's call for help is addressed to all free nations of the world fighting for justice and human rights.

We ask the Red Cross and all international humanitarian organizations who work for prisoners of war to help us and act more decisively for Gilad.

At the end of June this year we entered the fifth year of Gilad's captivity and we are determined to make it the last! My mom has asked me to say on her behalf that we all appreciate your support and ask you to join our uncompromising struggle for the rescue of Gilad's life.

Each and everyone of us has the ability to make a small change, and all of us together can make a big difference and help to release my brother.

Thank you!"
