I pose this question specifically to the people who think that Palestinian Arab protesters are peaceful....See the image below and share your view. What would you do in this situation?
This is one of the best short documentaries I have seen in a long time about Arab Apartheid against the Palestinians in Lebanon - this information and footage is crucial for our fight against the people who falsely claim Israel as an Apartheid state and ignore the real Apartheid occurring right on our borders... share this and make it viral!
Post it on every "Israeli Apartheid" site you can think of...
In this video, Israel's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Danny Ayalon explains the historical facts relating to the Israeli Palestinian conflict. The video explains where the terms "West Bank", "occupied territories" and "67 Borders" originated and how they are incorrectly used and applied.

By now, most of us are well aware of the recent Palestinian unity deal between rival factions Hamas and Fatah and the subsequent bid to render a Palestinian state by approaching the UN for approval. The PA’s Mahmoud Abbas and Salam Fayyad had sought to sidestep the pressure placed upon them and their administration from the US as well as the Mideast Quartet in reviving peace negotiations with Israel because ultimately hard and bold concessions would have to be made. Hence, the best alternative was to concede to a fellow Palestinian faction, better to concede to people of your own roots rather than the Jewish state right (considering a final peace status would most likely result in recognizing Israel as the Jewish State)? Yet again however, the Palestinian Authority took steps that were too myopic, not considering in the context of things the possible far-run effects that are just now unfolding.
For instance, Prime Minister Fayyad was forced to release a public statement on 03 July 2011, explaining that government employees will only be receiving half their salaries because “international donors were not making good on their pledges”. These international donors consist of fellow Arab nations as well as European nations. However, with the EU’s economic distress looking more and more dim as well as the ‘Arab Spring’ that is forcing Arab nations to recede outsource funding until they solve their own domestic issues, the PA now all of a sudden looks towards their popular Western sources, aka the United States, to bail them out of this new hole. What do we see all of a sudden? The PA knows the US will bail them out but only if they drop their UN bid for statehood. So, they laid down a couple of the usual pre-texts, Israel should withdraw to ’67 borders and halt settlement construction; two issues of which can be discussed in negotiations anyway. But hey, it’s nothing new after all, the PA doesn’t want to be seen speaking to a right-wing government no less than actually getting any closer to reaching a final status deal. I mean, they’ve already sought to overture the Oslo Accords and everything the PA, Israel, the US and the Mideast Quartet worked for up until this point since the early 90’s by heading to the UN for statehood and avoiding contact with Israel at all costs. Well that is a new approach, but what isn’t new is the PA’s lack of appreciation or understanding of how far they have come, since 1967 in terms of just the mere freedom to take such an approach, they could only thank Israel if they did.
Sure, Mahmoud Abbas does not want to be seen as the man who spoke with hard-lined right winger Netanyahu far less than he wants to be put down in the history books as “betraying” his people by agreeing to peace with a right wing Israeli government. Lest we forget that it was a right-wing government that got Egypt to the negotiating table and ultimately signed a peace treaty with them. We also can’t forget that it was also a right-wing former military man and politician, Yitzhak Rabin, that during his tenure as Minister of Defense for the Israeli right-wing Likud party (during the 1st intifada), he laid the ground work for the Israel-Jordan peace treaty, before leaving to head the left-wing Labor party (which won the next national elections and placed him as Prime Minister) and once in place as leader of the Israeli state, finalized the treaty with his Jordanian counterparts. Nonetheless, it’s not about being scared to lose your life like Anwar El Sadat or the fear of domestic assassination like Yitzhak Rabin, it’s more so just the lack of appreciation or mere understanding that thanks to Israel’s annexation of the West Bank and Gaza Strip in 1967, the Palestinian people no longer had to live oppressed, in fear and under strict confines to survive like they did under Egypt’s rule of the Gaza Strip or Jordan’s rule of the West Bank.
Egypt placed military rule over the Gaza Strip from 1957 to 1967. During that tenure, the Palestinians were truly refugees. They were not absorbed as Egyptians nor given any sort of landed immigrant or citizenship status. A constitution was drawn up that gave the Egyptian military commanders full discretion on Gaza. “There were no elections. A puppet government automatically ratified all legislation that the governor brought before it. In 1965, even this façade of local autonomy collapsed when the Egyptian army dismissed the legislature.” Strict curfews were placed, in which no one was allowed outside their homes after 9pm until dawn or they would risk death. Other oppressive techniques were used such as the enforcement of secret police, leaving practically anyone vulnerable to sudden questioning, detainment or imprisonment. Due to their refugee status, most Palestinians were refused salaries or work, were barred from owning land and thousands of young Gaza residents were forced to conscribe to the Egyptian army.
It can only lead one to imagine what kind of intifada or revolution would need to take place to fight for sovereignty against the Egyptian military rule. How many deaths would be required? How many families would be lost? Would it look anything like the revolts happening now in Libya, Syria or Iran? However, before you can even get to those questions, one would need to ask if it would even be possible to speak up and have the freedom of expression, the freedom to gather in groups and march towards Egypt in demand of autonomy or sovereignty, the way they were allowed to do so under Israel’s occupation. Clearly, it’s a possibility the Palestinians only saw a light to after Israel took them over. Israel, the single democratic state in the region, permitted them to assemble their own rule and governance and to take the steps needed so that they no longer have to rely on Israel. Ariel Sharon, considered one of Israel’s strongest hard line right-winger leaders took a bold move in implementing, the first step in the late George W. Bush’s 2003 Road Map plan, and unilaterally at that, to secede from the Gaza Strip. In return, all Israel received was an Iranian-Syrian-Hezbollah proxy neighbor known as Hamas. But Israel’s intentions since 1967 had consistently been to give the Palestinians autonomy and sovereignty; they were lands acquired as a result of war and were not in Israel’s grand scheme of things except to be used diplomatically as bargaining chips to end hostilities with its neighbors. With regards to Jerusalem, it was ruled firstly by the British, then by Jordan which voided UN Resolution 181 that was to ensure Jerusalem be an international city, while also barring any Israelis from entering it hence violating the Armistice agreement that ended the Independence day War in 1949, and then finally Israel; any legal claims to the city by today’s Palestinians is merely a far cry from reality. Regardless, Egypt was more than happy to give up the Gaza Strip to Israel, they no longer had to place military rule over it and the Palestinians were even more ecstatic, they were no longer ruled by dictatorship. They could now return to ‘normal’ civil life without fear.
Observing occupation under Jordan, while not nearly as oppressive, was still futile. Unlike any of the other Arab nations that absorbed the Palestinian refugees (up until today), Jordan was the only one to give them citizenship. However, they still lived in refugee camps and depended almost entirely on UNRWA assistance for survival. UNRWA reported in 1956: "One of the obstacles to the achievement of the General Assembly's goal of making the refugees self-supporting continues to be the opposition of the governments in the area." Sir Alexander Galloway, a UNRWA official who quit in frustration, observed bitterly: "The Arab states don't want to solve the refugee problem. They want to keep it as an open sore, as a weapon against Israel. Arab leaders don't give a damn whether the refugees live or die." So of course, with knowledge of that, Jordan was more than prepared to give up the West Bank.
What happened as a result of Israel’s annexation of the West Bank and East Jerusalem since 1967? The development of roads, towns, cities and state institutions that today has allowed the PA to qualify for a statehood bid with the UN. If only the PA could realize that the reality in which they reside in today and the capacity for statehood that they have built for themselves is a result of being “occupied” by the only democratic state in the region and not their fellow Arabic theocracies and dictatorships, then maybe, just maybe, they would be approaching Israel with unilateral concessions with an open handshake for peace and not the other way around. Perhaps then we could finally lay to rest the popular expression/belief that if you give the Palestinians a hand they will want the whole arm. Israel has done a lot more for their cause whether directly or indirectly than any other nation or state in the region, arguably more than the Palestinians themselves and recognition of that could also lead the PA government to the end of hostilities, fears and mistrusts with Israel.

During Yom Hashoah this year I managed to watch the latest documentary on the
Nazis titled "A Film Unfinished", it inspired me to write this article. It is about a 60 minute reel of raw
footage that was discovered in an East German archive labeled "Das Ghetto" and
which portrays the life of Jews in the Warsaw Ghetto of 1942. The film not only
shows the life of Jews within the ghetto, but it deliberately intends to show
the extreme differences between rich and poor Jews. The differences, however,
had all been staged to service the needs of the Nazi propaganda machine.
To quote parts from the documentary trailer: "In 1942, one of the only known
films of the Warsaw Ghetto was shot. Scenes of Jewish life were documented. For
decades after World War II, this footage was presented as truth. Until 40 years
later, when a missing reel was discovered..."
"This is the story of a film that was never completed. A film designed to
service propaganda for the third Reich, that empire that knew so well to
document its own evil."
"Let the world see what a paradise the Jews lived in."
In short, the documentary exposes the methods in which the Nazis intended to
show the general German population and the world how "well" Jews were living in
the Ghettos, even though the scenes were staged, and then to show how the Jews
that were living "well" did "not care" about the poor, starving or already dead
Jews at all... Other staged scenes included leaving dead bodies out in the
streets and then having "rich" Jews walk past the bodies and not even budge an
eyelid or show any concern, as though Jews do not care that the dead lay in
their streets... Next they would show scenes of the "rich" having a proper
Jewish burial as opposed to the poor who were just dumped into mass graves one
on top of the other, to "show" that Jews do not value the lives of the
poor...
It then moves to another level whereby they intended to show the world the
"barbaric" rituals of Jews with regards to circumcision, keeping in mind that
the Germans of the time and most non-Jews did not circumcise their babies, so
seeing this could easily disgust people and lead them to believe that Jews are
inhumane, primitive and barbaric in our practices...Furthermore, they showed
staged scenes of poor religious men in a
Mikve, naked, with "rich" women who were also naked, in an attempt to portray our
religious practices as though they involve orgies of some sort, of course men
and women do not go into a Mikve at the same time or place and there is no such
religious practice that involves orgies of any sort...
Once the Nazis had convinced the general German population that the Jews were
living "well" in the ghettos, this would ease the minds of the Germans to not
ask any further questions, moreover once they convinced the Germans that Jews
were "inhumane and barbaric", this would be a reason for them to exterminate the
Jews and therefore have the support of the country to do so...
Here are some short examples of the continued use of anti-Semitic propaganda, I
say short because I could literally write a thesis with the full amount of
propaganda that is currently out there...
Pallywood & The Paparazzi
The use of visual propaganda rose up again with the invention of "Pallywood" and other forms of visual propaganda which I will go into in a moment...
Pallywood is a coinage used to describe alleged cases of "media manipulation,
distortion and outright fraud by the Palestinians and other Arabs ... designed
to win the public relations war against Israel."
It was publicized by
Richard Landes
who produced a documentary titled "Pallywood: According to Palestinian Sources"...
The documentary exposes the staged scenes which the Palestinians were setting up
with the intention of misleading the media and the world into believing that a
situation was far worse than it actually was and/or also staging violent
situations that were entirely made up and acted from beginning till end... All
"media" coverage was done by freelance photographers and cameramen not official
news sources...
Examples of this included the "Muhammad al-Durrah incident" where a
staged scene
was set to make as though the IDF had deliberately fired upon and killed Jamal
al-Durrah and his 12 year old son Muhammad al-Durrah... This was filmed by a
France 2 freelance cameraman but France 2 deliberately left out a
very important part of the video
which was discovered and
debunked by "The 2nd Draft"
in
this video... The part that was left out was at a point where the boy was supposedly
already dead yet he quickly peeks to see what he needs to do next...
This well executed (no pun intended) plan made Israel look bad just as much as
Nazi Germany was fated to be successful, and even if the intention was later
discovered to be fake, false or misdirected, the initial image always sticks in
peoples’ minds especially one of disgust… and no matter how much proof we can
later offer that debunks the incident, it will never convince people who have
already been convinced enough by seeing the first video…. anything else becomes
a conspiracy theory or a cover-up to them…
This one incident became an icon of hatred towards Israel, all the Muslim
countries had postage stamps honoring al-Durrah,
Daniel Pearl
was killed to avenge his "death",
Osama Bin Laden used the incident
to incite before 9/11 and streets, squares & academies have been named after
him... Al-Durrah was even referred to as "a tiny sleeping Jesus" - [Al-Quds, May
25, 2001] - He became a poster child for the Intifada...
"Jesus was Palestinian", "the Palestinians are Jesus"
Palestinians have gone as far as claiming that Jesus & Moses were Muslim
Palestinians and that Abraham was the first Muslim Palestinian, the use of
self-propaganda became a powerful influence on the people to justify their own
existence, history and heritage and in turn to make Jews look bad once again for
supposedly "killing Jesus their Messiah" as well as making the claim that we are
all "fake Jews" except for the "Hebrews or Israelites"...
Attempts to fabricate their own history to
convince people
that they are descendants of "Jesus the Palestinian" have gone as far as calling
Jesus "the first Palestinian Shahid – Martyr for Allah," [Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, January 17, 2005]... Now whether Jesus was technically
called a Palestinian or not, because this area was known as Palestine, the fact
is that they are
rewriting their own history
as a direct connection to the Jewish Jesus which is of course impossible...
Palestine was only named Palestine 136 years after Jesus' death as part of
Rome's plan to cut the Jews' ties to their Land of Israel... Palestine was made
up of Palestinian Jews, Muslims and Christians. Palestinian is not a culture,
religion or race of people, at least not the same as the Palestinians that we
know of today...
Quotes such as the following are drummed into the minds of the Palestinians:
"We must not forget that (Jesus) Messiah, may peace be upon him, is
Palestinian, the son of Mary the Palestinian, who is sanctified by hundreds
of millions of believers in this world." [Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, November
18, 2005]
"It was quite natural that the Palestinians rose to save their sanctuaries
[in Nazareth] without anyone thinking there is a difference between a
Christian and a Muslim… since in the Palestinian situation, the lord Messiah
[Jesus] and his mother [Mary] are both Galileans and Palestinians
…"[Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, March 9, 2006]
"The Palestinian Galilee village of Kfar Kana takes pride in the fact that
in [the village] the Palestinian Messiah succeeded to turn water into
wine." [Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, December 14, 2004]
"…And a child from the De’haisha refugeecamp will shout: "Yes, we have won,
just as the prophets and [Jesus’] Apostles won," and the shahids will cry,
‘We shook the palm trees alongside Lady Earth and the lady of the people,
the Virgin Mary, and with her son the first Palestinian
Shahid." [Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, January 17, 2005]
Artist: "Our struggle today against the other side is an eternal one. It can
be said that it started 2,000 years ago and continues until today. I
demonstrate this through the figure of Jesus… The Israeli soldiers are
wearing army uniforms while Jesus has nothing except for the truth. When
they searched him at the entrance of Jerusalem, they found a stone, a piece
of bread and fish and he was cuffed. This is the Palestinian from the
beginning of the struggle until the end." [PA TV, July 21, 2000]
The mere belief that these people are of a heritage and descent that they are
not, becomes a major problem when they have convinced the rest of the world, who
actually believes them, that everything they say is true because they believe it
with such conviction... This then reassures the Pro-Palestinian mob that
"Palestinians" definitely have ancestral rights to this land and possibly
others, dating back to the times of Abraham, Moses and Jesus... this fuels the
support for the Palestinians "struggle" to get "their" land back...
The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion
"The Protocols of the Elders of Ziyon
is a fabricated document; its content is demonstrably fictional in its entirety.
It was originally produced in Russia between 1897 and 1903, possibly by
Pyotr Ivanovich Rachkovsky, head of the Paris office of the Russian Secret Police, and unknown others. It
is a fraudulent, anti-Semitic text purporting to describe a Jewish plan for
achieving global domination."
This famous piece of propaganda was used continuously to demonize the Jews and
is still in use today, the so called protocols have even been published online
by many anti-Semitic websites such as
JewWatch.com
and
BibleBelievers.org.au...
Youtube has its
fair share
of propaganda videos "exposing the truth" about Jews by using the Protocols as a
tool to convince people of the Jewish and Zionist "conspiracies" such as
world domination,
mass media control,
control of the banking systems
and more...
Facebook
is no different... It is sadly amusing what these people come up with... So far
only a few have put in the effort to
debunk
this
hoax...
Here is a list of some of the times this book has been used for propaganda
purposes:
1920: The Protocols were published in Poland, France, England,
and the United States. These editions blame the Russian Revolution on Jewish
conspirators and warn of
Bolshevism
spreading to the West.
1920: Automaker Henry Ford's Dearborn Independent
published The International Jew, an Americanized version of the Protocols to which he later apologized for
doing so. It is
available online
to read.
1933: Adolf
Hitler made "good" use
of it, he published 23 editions of it before World War II began.
1938: "Radio priest" Father
Charles E. Coughlin
serialized the Protocols in his newspaper, Social Justice.
1960: The Protocols were featured in an article published by
Salah Dasuqi, military governor of Cairo, in "al-Majallaaa", the official cultural journal.
1974: Idi Amin, the President of Uganda from 1971 to 1979, cited
the book as evidence of a Jewish conspiracy to take over the world, and as
justification for his self-proclaimed plans to destroy Israel. He
reveals this
in an interview during the documentary "Idi Amin Dada".
1985: An English-language edition of Protocols was published by
the Islamic Propagation Organization and
issued in Iran.
1997: The Protocols become a
best-seller in Syria, it was exhibited and sold at the Damascus International Book Fair. It was
then reprinted in 2004 and 2005.
2002: Egyptian satellite television
broadcasts
a 41-part miniseries "Horseman Without a Horse", which is based largely on the Protocols.
2003: A 30-part television miniseries called "Al Shatat (The Diaspora)", produced in Syria, was
broadcasted
on Hizbullah's Al-Manar TV. The series depicts a “global Jewish government,”
as described in the Protocols.
2003: An exhibition of holy books of monotheistic religions at
the
Alexandria Library
in Egypt includes a copy of the
Protocols next to the Torah. UNESCO issues a public denunciation of the Alexandria Library exhibition.
2004: The Protocols are published in Okinawa,
Japan.
2005: A Spanish-language edition of the Protocols,
published in Mexico City, says that whether or not the Protocols are authentic, history shows that
Zionists intend to dominate the world.
2005: An edition of the Protocols was
authorized by the Syrian Ministry
of Information, claims that the Elders of Zion coordinated the September 11,
2001, terrorist attacks on the United States.
2006: Saudi Arabian schoolbooks contain explicit summaries of
the
Protocols as factual.
2011: The
Charter of Hamas
explicitly refers to the Protocols, accepting them as factual and makes
several references to Freemasons as one of the "secret societies" controlled
by "Zionists".
The list goes on and will continue to go on as a powerful propaganda tool
against Jews, Israel and Zionists!
Israeli "Apartheid"
Since the term "Israeli Apartheid" was invented, vast amounts of anti-Israel
campaigns increased in numbers with intent to directly compare the real
South African Apartheid
regime to the current Israeli regime... It was in fact
stated back in 2004 by UN agent
John Dugard that the Israeli "Apartheid regime in territories is worse than in
South Africa"....
"In a 2007 report, United Nations Special Rapporteur for Palestine John Dugard
stated that 'elements of the
Israeli occupation constitute forms of colonialism and of apartheid, which are contrary to international law' and suggested that the 'legal
consequences of a prolonged occupation with features of colonialism and
apartheid' be put to the International Court of Justice. South Africa's
statutory research agency the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC) stated in a
2009 report that 'the State of Israel exercises control in the [Occupied
Palestinian Territories] with the purpose of
maintaining a system of domination by Jews over Palestinians
and that this system constitutes a breach of the prohibition of apartheid.' In
2010 United Nations Special Rapporteur for Palestine Richard A. Falk reported
that
criminal apartheid features of the Israeli occupation
had been entrenched in the three years since the report of his predecessor, John
Dugard." (source)
The so-called "Israeli Apartheid" libel has spawned campaigns such as:
Once again the list goes on a mile long... Prominent Palestinians,
Jewish anti-Zionists,
South Africans,
Americans
and Europeans have been at the forefront of these campaigns.
Yet no matter how many of us attempt to debunk this myth, the damage is
already done... The usual suspects,
Youtube
and
Facebook, are of course overwhelmed with propaganda footage and campaigns of how
Israel is supposedly an Apartheid regime, even
Enrique Iglesias agrees...
This has become the "latest and greatest" tactic to use in the fight to
delegitimize Israel by demonizing Jews who support Israel, Zionists, Israelis
and well truthfully any Jews in general too but many will argue that they
"love" Jews but hate Israelis or Zionists, which is true for some, but many
who are actually anti-Semitic, hide behind the "political correctness" of
being anti-Zionist rather than anti-Semitic...
Illogical arguments in support of Israel being an Apartheid state usually go
something like
"Jews are against Israel's occupation and against Israeli Apartheid"-
this to them translates into meaning that because
some Jews are against Israel
and do believe that Israel is an Apartheid regime that therefore the majority
of Jews and Israelis MUST be wrong... Many a time I have seen this line used
and it holds no weight when it is analyzed properly, it is a meaningless
argument like saying
"some Americans hate America because of the Iraq War therefore America is
wrong and should be put on trial"- As absurd as this sounds, people use these as arguments all the time in
defense of their belief that "Israel is evil"... This is a direct result of
the "Israeli Apartheid" propaganda that is out there...
I used to live in Apartheid South Africa, I grew up there and witnessed many
incidents of real Apartheid on a daily basis. I now live in Israel for many
years and I can assure you that there is no Israeli Apartheid, there never has
been and never will be! During the Apartheid we, as Jews, were not allowed to
go to certain places such as country clubs where they had signs stating "No
Blacks, No Dogs, No Jews", you will never see a sign in Israel preventing an
Arab whether Muslim or Christian from entering, not even at the Western Wall
(Kotel). Perhaps I am hallucinating when I go to the shopping mall and see
well dressed happy Arabs
in the
same shopping malls
that I go to or when I visit the Tel Aviv University and see many Arab
students &
professors
walking around the campus without being hassled by anyone... Yet people
will then argue that it is the Palestinians who are suffering from the
"Apartheid" due to the wall but this too makes no logical sense because
Palestinians are not a part of Israel AT ALL, they have their own governing
body, laws, rules and regulations to follow that have nothing to do with
Israel in the least... they are no different to Jordanians or Egyptians in
that they are not a part of Israel so therefore have to pass through border
control points anyway if they wish to enter & exit Israel, what is the
difference? Every border has a fence, this particular one has a wall, where is
the difference besides cosmetically? Even
Egypt has a wall
on the border of Gaza but that is "apparently" acceptable...
"The Satanic Talmud & The Synagogue Of Satan & The Zionist
Illuminati"
Another new, or maybe not so new, form of anti-Semitic propaganda is the
comparison between the
Talmud, Kaballah
and Satanism / Devil Worship as well as a continued belief (Protocols) that
the Jews are actually the
Illuminati
who hide behind the world and seek to control it or who have been controlling
it for thousands of years like puppet masters... It has gone viral!
While no one is really sure who first came up with this preposterous idea that
Jews are Satanic or members of the so called Illuminati, but the conspiracy
theorists out there have really got the hang of this one and have managed to
"convert" many an ignorant person into believing this total nonsense....
An example of one such person is "Brother Nathanael" who is an Orthodox Christian street evangelist that warns people of the
dangers of the Jews being in control of the world... He started the "Brother Nathanael Foundation" and also runs the notorious "Real Zionist News" blog and interestingly enough was supposedly born a Jew but converted to
Christianity to escape from the "evil claws" of Judaism... His Youtube videos,
of which he
has many, show him explaining
why he left Judaism
and how to
break the Zionist power... His followers have been led to believe that all Jews, except ones that
convert to Christianity, are evil Satan worshipers and must be stopped... As
candid as he looks, speaks and acts is as dangerous as this man actually
is...
I won't go too much into these 2 deranged people but I will say that they have
both influenced the minds of ignorant people in many ways... For one Texe Marrs, the author, was inspired by Andrew Carrington's Synagogue of Satan as
well as Youtube, once again, is full of "proof" that "Jews are evil Satan worshippers"...
These 2 people have opened the door to many Christian fundamentalists who
believe that the Jews killed Jesus as well as white supremists, to enhance
their belief that Jews are, yes I said it again "evil Satan worshipers"... I
cannot begin to tell you how many arguments I have had with these people
online to try get them to see the ridiculousness of this belief of us being
what they claim we are...
I am sure you get the point of all of this by now but I did feel the need to
go into as much detail as I did above so that the people out there who may not
be aware of all of these things, as much as I am aware, can at least get a
taste of the very real "Unfinished and continued" use of anti-Semitic
propaganda that the world has to offer on a daily basis, at the click of a
mouse and also
for entertainment...
All of the above examples are propaganda tricks and fabrications of the truth
that are used only to re-assure people’s anti-Semitic approach or to convince
"new recruits" in the same way that the Nazis used false films and other
methods to convince their own people that killing the Jews was the right
solution... Today it is no different, whether it means killing the Jews or
destroying Israel, there is no difference whatsoever... Israel is a Jewish
homeland, always was and always will be and the need that these people have to
destroy Israel is directly connected to the reality that Israel is Jewish, no
other reason whatsoever can excuse the need for all of the above, even Yunis
al Astal, a member of the Palestinian Authority parliament
agrees...
The film unfinished continues today....

Recently another Hate Page was created on Facebook titled "The people want a bride for Gilad Shalit" (In Arabic), calling for the abduction of a female IDF soldier to marry the already kidnapped IDF soldier Gilad Shalit...
Ynet reported: "The intention behind the slogan is clear: A call for the abduction of an Israeli female solider who will serve as yet another Hamas bargaining chip in a future prisoner swap with the Jewish state."
Moments after this page was created, I added it to my list of Hate Speech groups to be removed from Facebook and also notified my contact at the Simon Wiesenthal Center... The page was sent directly to Facebook via my contact at SWC and was successfully removed due to this action in the same way that many other controversial Facebook hate pages were removed in the recent past... These removal campaigns included the notorious "Kill A Jew Day" & "Burn A Jew Day" events as well as the recently removed anti-semitic "News Cottage" blog... A big thanks goes out to SWC for the rapid assistance in these removals.
Sad but true! Be open minded and realistic about what she is saying, she makes a very good point on poor Israeli Hasbara, we can do a lot better and need to...
The Palestinians have beaten us already in that game, we need a serious wake up call...
The weekly demonstrators at Bil'in in Israel always describe their activities as "peaceful" and "non-violent." But their own videos of the riots seem to show another story...
"Facebook joins Stanford University project 'Peace Innovation;' Facebook tracking connections between Israelis and Palestinians.
The Facebook social networking site has joined a Stanford project encouraging online organizations to share the impact they are making on peace.
Answering the call of a Stanford University project called 'Peace Innovation,' Facebook started tracking connections made between Israelis and Palestinians, Indians and Pakistanis, and Albanian and Serbian members of the social networking website."
"By Dennis Prager: According to every liberal editorial page in America (and virtually every editorial page abroad), according to President Obama, the United Nations and every other liberal institution, and according to Jews on the left, the major impediment to peace in the Middle East is Israel’s continuing construction of settlements in Jerusalem and the West Bank.
You have to say at least one thing on behalf of those on the left: They are consistent. In conflicts between a decent society and an indecent society, you can almost always count on the left to blame the decent society. The U.S. was wrong in overthrowing the mass murderer Saddam Hussein. The U.S. was wrong in fighting North Vietnam’s Stalinist tyrant, Ho Chi Minh. The U.S. was wrong in backing the Nicaraguan opposition to the Communist Sandinistas. Israel was wrong in its war against the murderous, Israel-denying, Jew-hating, Islamist totalitarian Hamas. And Israel is wrong today in its conflict with the Palestinians.
Actually, you can say one more thing: The left regularly confuses wishful thinking with reality. You see, I, too, wish that Israeli settlement construction — usually no more than apartment construction within existing Jewish communities within or right outside of Jerusalem — were the obstacle to peace between Israel and the Palestinians. But not being on the left, I am cursed with not assuming that what I would like to believe is reality.
If only these apartments were the problem. What a great day it would be for all of us who yearn to see the Jewish state accepted by its Palestinian and other Arab neighbors.
But, alas, this is make-believe. As Charles Krauthammer asked in a column he wrote a year ago, 'Is the peace process moribund because a teacher in the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem is making an addition to her house to accommodate new grandchildren?'
Not quite. As Krauthammer noted, 'Blaming Israel and picking a fight over ‘natural growth’ may curry favor with the Muslim ‘street.’ But it will only induce the Arab states to do like Abbas: sit and wait for America to deliver Israel on a platter.'
Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman, one of Israel’s most right-wing politicians, lives in a settlement. He has said that, to achieve peace he and his family would abandon their home. And for real peace, if necessary, Israel would force religious and secular settlers to abandon their homes as well.
If the conflict isn’t due to settlement buildings, then, why is there no peace between Israel and the Palestinians?
For the same reason the Jewish state was invaded by six Arab armies when it was born.
For the same reason Gamal Abdel Nasser, the Egyptian dictator, declared his intention to destroy Israel and, in partnership with Syria and Jordan, tried to do so in May-June 1967.
For the same reason that, in September 1967, the Arab nations gathered in Khartoum, Sudan, and declared their 'Three No’s': no peace with Israel, no negotiations with Israel, no recognition of Israel.
For the same reason the Palestinians sent human bombs into Israeli schools, weddings, pizza parlors and buses to maim and murder as many Jews as possible.
For the same reason Yasser Arafat unleashed more terror on Israelis in 2001 right after he rejected the offer of a Palestinian state made by Israel’s left-wing Prime Minister Ehud Barak and by President Bill Clinton.
For the same reason Iran’s dictator Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has repeatedly called for Israel’s annihilation.
For the same reason Egyptian, Palestinian, Syrian and other Arab and Muslim countries’ media regularly broadcast the most anti-Semitic propaganda since the Nazis.
And that reason is that most Palestinians and most other Muslims in the Middle East, and many Muslims elsewhere, do not believe that a Jewish state should be allowed to exist, period, in an area once dominated by Islam. That — not Israeli apartment-building — is the problem.
Postscript: I just released the latest video course in my Internet project known as Prager University: prageru.com. It is, like the other courses, five minutes long. With the aid of maps and other illustrations, it explains what I have written here: The Middle East issue revolves around Arab/Muslim rejection of a Jewish state. According to YouTube, it has been viewed by 300,000 visitors in its first two weeks. I note this, first, to inform readers of this column about the video; second, to note how hungry people are for a clear explanation of the real reason for the lack of peace between Israel and the Palestinians; and third, because I have been moved by how many Israelis have written to me to thank me for the video. With nearly all the world — including many Jews — blaming Israel, they had forgotten why they don’t deserve to be.

"To citizens of Gaza, the Hamas government’s campaign to uncover and uproot the network of collaborators with Israel has been shockingly effective.
It began with a warning: the execution of two convicted collaborators in May. Then Hamas government officials, who were convinced that a wide network of spies was undermining their government, made an unprecedented offer: a two-month amnesty campaign. Collaborators could turn themselves in and be forgiven, their identities kept secret.
When the offer expired this summer, the arrests began. Armed with the information they’d gleaned from those who’d given themselves up, security forces arrested hundreds more.
Gazans were astounded not only by the number or arrests, but by who was arrested. Prominent figures in society, including many doctors, were reportedly among those caught in the sweep. As the hunt for spies continues, Gazans say the revelation of the network’s reach is eroding trust between neighbors, coworkers – even family members. It’s tearing at the fabric of a close-knit society, where families, friends and neighbors often depend on each other.
'It has a really bad impact on society,' says Alaa Fouad, an anesthesiologist at Shifa Hospital in Gaza City. 'People start to be afraid of each other. We don't talk openly with each other, and we suspect each other.'
Intelligence source: Hundreds arrested in crackdownThe Interior Ministry will not say how many people have been arrested in the campaign. But a source in the intelligence service says the number was in the high hundreds. Ihab Al Ghusain, spokesman for the Interior Ministry, said the 'repentance campaign,' as it is called in Gaza, was highly effective. Just how effective will become clearer when the trials begin, likely starting next year.
'What we can say is that the national campaign for fighting collaboration was successful, because it is a new way of dealing with this,'
Ghusain says the government has also worked to address the reasons these individuals became collaborators. Many of those who turned themselves in – Ghusain won’t say how many did – were low-level collaborators who had been blackmailed by Israeli intelligence, he says. Some did it for money; others needed permission to leave Gaza for medical treatment or study. The government says it will provide them with financial assistance, or other alternatives for medical treatment or study, like going to Egyptian hospitals instead of into Israel.
But the information they gave up allowed the authorities to apprehend many who were much more deeply involved. One man had been working for the Israelis for 15 years, says Ghusain 'and was turned in by his wife.
The source in the intelligence service said in an interview that the operation yielded other fruits as well: the security apparatus discovered that Israel was placing tracking and recording devices on the cars allowed in to Gaza for sale since the relaxation of Israel’s blockade of the coastal territory. They also discovered such devices elsewhere, he says.
Gazans support crackdown, but surprised at its resultsThe campaign to root out spies for Israel has near unanimous support in Gaza. Nearly everyone agrees that collaboration is a serious problem and the spies should be found and brought to justice (the death penalty is widely supported for collaborators). And few are surprised that poor Gazans who need medical treatment outside the enclave would provide information in return for permission to travel.
What has shocked people, and caused worry, was the arrests of doctors, engineers, and even members of the Hamas government, who are reported to be collaborators. 'I don’t trust anyone anymore,' says Ihab El Helu, a nut seller in Gaza City’s market. 'After this campaign we discovered some of the most respected people in society were collaborating with Israel. So who can we trust anymore? If the elite and intellectuals are involved, who else? Who is not involved?'
Concerns about due process, treatment of detaineesRumors and panic reached a fever pitch over the summer when the government began arresting people while shrouding the campaign in secrecy. Because officials wouldn’t say why anyone was arrested, people arrested for other crimes were sometimes falsely branded collaborators, a charge that carries a high price in Gazan society.
Issam Younis, director of Al Mezan Center for Human Rights, says government officials were inept at managing the crisis of public opinion, contributing to the rumors and fear that peaked several months ago. He downplays the social effects of the campaign, saying that distrust has subsided and is not epidemic. But he does have other concerns, including due process and humane treatment of detainees. Many of those accused of collaborating are tortured, and Mr. Younis says confessions extracted by coercion or torture are common. Additionally, collaborators are tried in military, rather than civilian courts, which Younis says deprives them of rights. And the Hamas government’s execution of collaborators is done technically outside the law, since the law requires a death sentence be authorized by Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas. That hasn’t been obtained because of the split between Hamas and Fatah. Because of the secrecy surrounding the campaign, it is also unclear whether the government is using it to punish political enemies. Younis says he has not heard complaints of this, though the intelligence source said many of those arrested belonged to Fatah.
A father pressured by Israel over his ill daughterOne of those is Emad Tanani, who has been detained in the Central Rehabilitation and Reform Center, Gaza City’s main prison, for 17 months while awaiting a decision on his case. Although he was arrested before the current campaign began, he said in an interview at the prison that his sympathy for Fatah likely played a part. He lives with 35 other men accused or convicted of collaboration in a cell smaller than a tennis court. Mr. Tanani says he is innocent. Two years ago, his young daughter was gravely ill and needed medical treatment that was not available in Gaza. When he tried to take her to Israel, Israeli intelligence agents told him he must agree to work with them in order to allow his daughter to cross. 'What could I do?' he asks. He told the agents that he agreed, and took his daughter for treatment. But he never gave the Israelis any information, he says. He told a friend about the incident, and his friend turned him in as a collaborator. 'I don’t trust anyone now in Gaza,' he says. 'Anyone. There is no trust in our society anymore.'" (source)
